#4: Rachel – rachelisms.net

I actually don’t remember the first time I talked to Rachel, but funnily enough, when I think back, it was two years ago. I had just opened my domain and I’m pretty sure she left me a comment – or the other way around. We got to know each other online through commenting. She had a really cute site… it made me miss my pixelling days. U_U

Two years later it’s kind of hard to believe we’re still talking and we’re really good friends! I don’t know what really “made” us get along in the first place, but the internet is a wonderful world where I’ve met lots of nice people. I have to say that Rachel is probably the person I’ve known the longest online, or at least, become the closest to.

(I just remembered someone else I’ve known for pretty long but we don’t talk as much as Rachel and I do.)

Over the course of time, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Rachel and she is a wonderful friend. She is awesome in every which way, and I fail at detailing the reasons why she is so, but I have the honour of owning her fanlisting which I opened some time ago and am looking at right now… because I know I wrote nice stuff about her there. HAHAHA.

I like that we can talk about anything, even the weirdest of subjects. I love talking to her about website stuff, because that’s something we both have in common. We comment race and do things together, even though it might not be physically together, we design things at the same time and she really gives me a sense of motivation.

I feel like she stays up until the wee hours of the morning just to talk to me, but well, timezones are a bitch. :O

I am sure that even now, the idea of me kayaking to America or her kayaking here is still laughable, thanks to our boredom whilst looking at Google Maps.

I love Rachel because she cheers me up when I feel in the dumps, and we have lot of very silly inside jokes. I like that we have minds that think similarly and always have so much to share and discuss. ♥ :3
